To get it right, we worked closely—for years—with the radass women of the DX Ranch, a fourth-generation Lakota-owned ranch in South Dakota. Long and lean, the DX Bootcut looks like a tall drink of water. It's also a workhorse. This canvas pant also ranges beyond the ranch, with a double "shot pocket" that fits essential vet med tools, as well as folding knives and anything else that needs to sit snug ’n shallow. Dovenote: This is our ONLY pant without thigh reinforcements (for optimal horseback work). But fear no fabric fail. These bad britches are reinforced with CORDURA® threads, baby!

• Wash cold.

• If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low.
