Fabulous until they ripped

"I loved these pants until the worst thing happened, they ripped. They ripped in the worst way possible, not at a seam or weak point, but right in the middle of the butt. Thankfully it happened at the end of the day! Otherwise, these were great. Soft, stretchy, very comfortable. They fit small but I knew that from reading reviews (I wear 20 and order 24). Legs were still tight, but not enough to be restrictive or uncomfortable. Waist was much too large but worked with a good belt (thumbs up for good belt loops). They were warm when it was cold, and not hot when it wasn’t. I hate to give such a low score but ripping the butt of your pants is a girls worst nightmare."

love all the dovetail pants i’ve bought

"not only thermals but britt utility, go to and mavens - while they varied in size from pant to pant i live in these pants - would love all of them them in a dark brown espresso colour!! i bought my first pair of dovetails in sept 2024 and they're still standing up - had lots of compliments and told lots of people about them - looking forward to buying more in the future!"

Fabric tears easily, unlike other Dovetail pants

"I have multiple Dovetail pants that I generally really like. Unfortunately these pants are made with a different type of material and they have ripped in the butt with little wear or hard work. I've tried mending them and they ripped again."

Rips easily

"I bought these 8 months ago and probably worn them a total of 30 shifts and the knee ripped open so I patched it up then the crotch ripped open today so for a $200 pair I’d wish they had lasted a bit longer because they are warm and perfect for a chilli day and fit nice too."

Too small

"The fabric is fantastic, soft and flexible but I’ve ordered a size over my regular size and it was still too small. I usually wear a 18 and order size 20 when it come to dovetail work pants but this model didn’t make it. Disappointed."

100% get these pants

"I LOVE these pants. I was gifted them and I tell everyone about them. It feel like you are wearing the most cozy sweatpants almost. But they are super tough. I wear them working in a cidery cleaning and working on the farm. They get a real beating and they are still kicking. The only pants I own that I don't want to rip off at the end of the day. I sort of forget I have them on and end up just lounging in them if they aren't filthy from the day."

Cold metal rivets on insilated work pants????

"The pants are amazing except for one thing. They have metal rivets that go RIGHT THRU in several spots on the legs??? So when you wear them in cooler conditions all you feel is those freezing cold rivets????? Who does that on a $200 pair of insulated/lined work pants?? I bought them so I wouldn't have ot wear and insulated layer underneath. I have tried to contact the company about it and haven't heard back. Love your other products but complete design fail on these. :("

Love thermal!

"I can’t get enough of Dovetail thermal pants and overalls for the winter! These are a similar cut to freshleys. I took my normal size 6. They stretch a bit but not excessively. I really wish Dovetail would make 36” inseam in all pants. These are just about too short but there’s not a lot of options for us tall girls."
