With polyester woven into both the warp and the weft, this industrial strength, 11-oz fabric is no mere working stiff. Its gusseted crotch, double front, extra pockets, and knees mean that, just like you, this work pant does more.

FABRIC
  • Heavy-duty indigo denim
  • Fabric weight: 11 oz
  • Fabric content: 85% cotton / 14% polyester / 1% spandex
CARE

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold, separately.
  • Hang dry. *If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

This garment has been indigo dyed. Dye can rub off on skin, drywall, and lighter fabrics. It can also fade if left in sun or over-soaked. Please wash separately the first few times and wear with dark colors in the beginning. This natural beauty is not trying to be high maintenance, she just needs time to settle in. Trust us, she's worth it. Once broken in, wash with like colors but keep the temp cool. Heat messes with our special fabrics, and can shorten the lifespan of this piece. Stay cool, y'all!

"These better stick around!"

Destiny (5/5)

Favourite Dovetail Style

"My favourite fit / style of Dovetails so far. The denim is durable but not tight and restricting. The straight leg still allows for movement and flexibility and doesn’t fit too snug in any areas. These are my go-to pants for wind turbine work."

My favorite work pants

"I absolutely love these pants, but have some things to note. The fit: they definitely fit smaller than other dovetail pants in the same size. (never fade maven, and insulated stretch denim britt for me) Im 5'2" with 23" waist and 33" hip. These pants fit perfectly, while the other pants are little too loose/ I need a belt for them to be functional for work and they're not very flattering. The look: I have never seen a pair of pants fade so fast. They were noticably much lighter around thicker seams and high wear areas after only one (cold water, delicate cycle, hang dry) wash and have continued fading quickly with each consecutive wash. I prefer the way they look after a few washes, so this is actually a bonus for me."

Denim Britt Utility

"These are great pants for small people! Size guidelines seem accurate, I ordered 00 (I'm 5' tall and about 105lbs). I wasn't really sure on inseam length, I assumed I would need the shortest length, but the 28 was actually too short! So just make sure to check your inseam length before ordering."

"Love, Love. Bought these just for fun and regular wear fit is true to size for me. love them as everyday jeans that I can get dirty in the need arises!"

Amazing

"Best workpants for tiny woman in trades. So comfy and size inclusive."

I thought I hated jeans. But I love these.

"So I've always been jealous of my (male) partner's work pants. Super-functional, amazingly durable, and smart-looking enough to be worn as everyday pants, even for meetings. He had so many pockets! I *loved* all the little features. But...I'm a short (<5 foot) woman who isn't built like a boy. I also don't like a lot of loose fabric flapping about. As a result, I'm outside the size range of most useful workwear. Work clothing made for men just doesn't work all that well, even at the smallest sizes. Things get lost in pockets. Fall out of pockets. Or there just aren't enough pockets. I chose this particular model because you had my size and the sale meant I didn't spend too much to try something I might hate. I've actually hated (avoided) blue jeans for a long time...not sure why. I think I dislike unnecessary heaviness of regular jeans for what they offer (minimal functionality). Turns out I love these. I've been wearing them multiple days in a row and it's only been a couple of weeks. They fit great through the butt and thighs and don't have this annoying bagginess at the waist like so many jeans seem to have. I chose a size 0 with 28" leg; perfect for me except a bit long (I have **very** short legs). I can squat and stretch in them no problem. The pockets (hurray, so many!) actually hold things *and* hold things in place securely (e.g., my phone in the side pocket) without being uncomfortable or too tight. I am so happy with all the pockets that I want to fill them all and go do all the things. I thought I hated jeans, but it turns out, I just wanted my jeans to be *useful*. And fit so I can actually move and work. Thanks! I will be back..."

"In love with the fit, high waisted and not too tight; I did size up. Can't wait to put them to use, there's so many functional pockets! My 1st pair of Dovetails and I can't wait for my next!"
