Because we Dovetailed it. Yes, we’ve made you an elastic waist cargo pant with big-ass pockets. No, you won’t lose your self respect when you wear it. Deep design tweaks (peep those slash-angled pockets!) bring full-on function and Sarah Connor in Terminator vibes. You can have it all. And carry it too.

Note: Due to the lower stretch content of our Ripstop fabric, we strongly recommend sizing up.

Inspired by the EMTs and first responders, we mixed up a special fabric that’s almost as heroic as they are. This CORDURA™ micro-ripstop is as hardcore as it gets. Tough as hell, it will not let you down.

CARE

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Didn't live up to the hype but I'm sure it's fine.

"I ordered the 4/34 and 2/32 because I'm between sizes on the chart; I'm 5'10" and 135lbs. My hips and waist are 36" and 26" respectively. The waistband on both the 2/32 and 4/34 is too wide for me, and these are definitely not high-waist pants for a 5'10" person. There isn't much stretch to the fabric either, so I think this just isn't the brand for slim/athletic build tall people like me. Honestly a disappointment, but I'll likely have success re-selling them because they are an incredibly nice design."

Awesome fit and comfort!!

"These are the perfect work pant! Love the High waist and weight of the fabric. Reasonably cool for summer as well. I have various other Britt pants and a freshly overall but these are my favourite pants thus far. Overalls are still probably my favourite for all around comfort but really hot. I would love to see this pant with the side pockets instead of cargo as well. I like a few quick access pockets for ease of frequent use."
