Merging vintage indigo work stripes in a super stretchy lightweight denim, with pockets for days, a tool loop and reinforcements at thigh, knee and back cuff; that's as legit as it gets. So take the high road. Hit the high notes. It’s high time.

If this stripe seems familiar, good eye. Last year, we made prototypes of a few styles in Indigo Stripe Denim, a fan-fave fabric. Out of curiosity, our product developer Rachelle tea-dyed the High Rise sample. We found it perfectly Dovetailed heritage style and fantastic function.

CARE

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry.
  • If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Not quite good enough

"I had such high hopes for these! They were generally comfy and fit well except for the gap at the back. Sadly I had to return them because at that price, they would have had to fit pretty close to perfectly. There is something about my body shape that just doesn't work with Dovetail pants - they all fit well everywhere except for the back of the waist, which consistently has a large gap. Except for the Christa DIY - drawstring waist for the win!"
