FABRIC

Get dirty with a clean conscience.

  • Midweight canvas
  • Fabric weight: 10 oz
  • Fabric content: 97% BCI cotton/ 3% spandex
  • Medium stretch

Nothing feels better than cotton—except cotton with a delicious stretch and solid sustainability props. We sourced the cotton for these overalls from the Better Cotton Initiative. BCI Cotton strives to be not only better for the environment, but also for the farmers and communities who supply it.

CARE

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Fasten all hardware.
  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty overalls in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

In love

"I have worked in the trades for 15 years and have never worn a pair of coveralls that were so comfortable. It’s so nice to finally have a women’s workwear that fits correctly and is easy to go to the bathroom!"

"Super easy drop seat great for winter when it's cold and you're layers are enough to manage. Love the material, pockets , ability to move easy. . great first experience with dovetail"

Great purchase

"The construction of the garnment and the materials are great quality, it's super comfortable thanks to the stretch in the canvas and the elastics on the straps (genius idea!). The drop seat is a plus value that I didn't know I needed. Also, there was a problem with my order (the system registered the wrong size), the customer service was amazing. They sent me a return label and sent me the correct size free of additional charges. I am beyond happy with my investment in this work overall, I can freely move and do my work with comfort."

Very disappointed

"Very disappointed , I bought my first pair and they lasted me a full season. I bought another pair (after not being able to get my size for months!)and they ripped and basically disintegrated after 3 weeks. I reached out to the email provided and still have gotten no response. Wonderful idea to have a company made by women for women but is kind of false advertising when most women are larger in the hips and shorter in the legs and can never find their size."

Katelynn (1/5)

"These overalls have the right idea but definitely have their flaws! My biggest complaint is how skinny the legs are. I have very small and skinny legs and these are almost too skinny for me! My 14 year old daughter found them to be too tight in the lower legs. Very strange design-a woman with any lower body curve would not work in these-at all!"

Stop Drop and Go!

"I love my Freshly Drop Seat coveralls. My only issue is that the stars are too long and I have to fix them."

Made for Women’s bodies!

"These overalls are comfortable and fit so well. You can tell they are designed for a woman’s body. Worth every penny."

Natsaha (5/5)

"Love this idea. I bought 2 in my usual size for this brand. I work outside all day and have lots of gear to take off just to use the bathroom, so I thought these would be helpful to save time and make it easier, however I am not a big fan of the canvas material. I prefer the dark denim better, they just look nicer than this blue. The fit is also different, they don’t fit as comfortably, sort of awkward where the zipper is. It looks sort of funny and pulls outward. Hardly invisible. The buttons still also have to be undone in order for these to work, and the whole process becomes slightly just as ridiculous as taking them all the way off, also the legs seem more slim fit and become difficult to pull up when wearing a thermal layer underneath, the material doesn’t stretch very easily to allow movement comfortably. . end of the day I prefer the regular version over these."
