This fabric is as comfy as it is tough, with a good amount of stretch and ripstop construction to shut out the sharp shit. Basted with the world’s first plant-based water- and stain-repellent, EcoElite™, this fabric also contains cotton sourced by the Better Cotton Initiative. CARE

You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

  • Turn inside out.
  • Wash cold.
  • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

We get it's tempting to wash those dirty pants in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

Nice pants, bad fit

"I really wish these pants had fit better. They were recommended as being a bit roomier in the leg (so I would have enough space to get a knee pad inside) but they were much tighter than the first pair I bought. The general fit of both is more towards women with slimmer thighs. I’m definitely average size so it’s a bit sad. I’d love to see a pant with a looser leg but still all the tabs and pockets. Sorry I can’t give it a five star"

Be cautious, curvy ladies!

"I had such high hopes for these pants. If you have curves, these are NOT for you. I'm not a big person, I weight lift, and have the thighs to show it, but the thighs on these pants were SKIN tight and I had about a 4" waist gap. Totally unwearable. I purchased another pair (Britt utility) that fit great, so I don't understand why there are so bad. Be cautious, curvy ladies!"

"Very comfy and light. Thinner fabric then other styles. The only thing I don’t like is the loop for the hammer, it’s lower then other dovetail work pants so the hammer swings into the back of the leg when you walk. I got a size 8, 30 inseam, I am 155 lbs and 5’6. They fit perfect, but I could have gone up to a 32 inseam."
