True to size, comfortable, durable.
"True to size, comfortable, durable."
Women with strong legs spoke up about how they experience more wear and tear in the crotchal region of their canvas pants. Dovetail’s D-Fender to the rescue! How do you solve a problem like chub rub? First, we reshaped our signature crotch gusset in our stretch grey canvas pants, then wear-tested it on many of the women who reached out in the first place! That’s the Dovetail way.
Then, we called in reinforcements to make the strongest canvas pants out there. Military-grade CORDURA fibers strengthen 8 high-wear areas: belt loops, reinforced front pocket, tool loops, crotch gusset, device pocket, nested right pockets, front overlay panels, and back cuffs. These zonal reinforcements pop with textural, tonal difference, a nod to color-blocked European workwear taking street style by storm. Speaking of storms: they’re also water and stain-resistant, which stands up strong to major muck and mess.
D-Fender women’s pants stock up on storage with 10 of Dovetail’s prized pockets, including one for your phone, three stacked on the right thigh, and a hidden security zipper behind your back pocket. And no, you’re not seeing double: there are two tool loops: lefties, righties alike can rejoice!

"I did love the work pant, comfortable and the CORDURA is in all the right places except it’s not in the thigh area. A couple of months of wearing and they were ruined in thigh/crotch area. It would be nice like your other tough jeans to have some protection in the thigh, especially for the price, most people cant spend couple hundred dollars on jeans every couple of months."
"Good pants but wear in the thigh area too fast. Expensive to replace every few months"
"High-quality material. Comfortable and look good."
"I love them however the calf areas are quite tight and I thought they would fit me a bit better."
"Good coverage in the back, comfortable, seems to be a durable pant, not showing any signs of fabric wearing out between the thighs which is amazing as most pants end up ripping there for me. Usually wear these pants 3 days a week and walk at least 10k steps each of those days. These are my 1st choice when reaching for my work pants. More expensive but already lasted twice as long as the go to pant and already outlasted the Britt pant (both of which ripped between the thighs from worn fabric)"
"These are probably my favourite Dovetails besides the Christa DIY. I'm a guy, but have always had significantly more luck with ladies workwear due to my small short frame and muscular legs. Small men's pants don't always fit working bodies! Size 4 fits true to size, and the 30" inseam is just the right length over my boots. I usually wear a 28-29 in men's pants, if I can find ones with thigh space. Pants tend to fit tight around the hips because of my glute shape, usually I have to size up and belt the waist in a lot. No issues whatsoever. They're definitely fitted, but comfortable. I do still belt mine for security day-to-day. These are not the highest waisted pant, but it's a comfortable rise. The fabric is thinner than I expected, quite soft. I don't work around a lot of ripping hazards so I can't speak to durability in that sense. I do wish it had knee pad pockets. The knees are thicker, but I would like the option. All in, worth the price. These wash really well. I've had mine for a few months and they have not torn or faded. Haven't even ripped a belt loop or back pocket."
"Bought for my daughter, she says they're super comfy and great for work :female-construction-worker:"
"All of the pants r really comfortable to wear. Some are less durrable than others and dont last as long for my work. It would be cool of you has specific welder pants. Thick canvas with no seams to catch sparks."
"I am a canadian farmer who struggled to find small size work clothes that are durable and fit well, and were canadian made. With dovetail I do not feel limited anymore but much more capable and prepared."
